DAY THREE --
"A good evening is one spent in good company." Well, this is obvious. I must go out
and spend the evening with some good company. Only thing is, I'm new to the city
and I don't really know much good company first hand. All of my good company is
on the other side of the United States.
What is this cookie, trying to mock me?
Does it think me a clown?
Or is it kindly trying to encourage me to
get out and find some new friends? Preferably ones who like Chinese food, because
I could meet people who wouldn't understand that MSG is like a major food group to me.
Then there are those who would want to share. I hate sharing Chinese food, because you never get
enough of the one dish YOU really wanted and you always have
to eat things other people order that you have no interest in like "poo-poo platters"
and things with meat in them; which won't work for me since I'm a vegetarian... who
eats seafood. Anyway, that limits my choices, so I'd have to meet some new friends who either are also fish eating vegetarians or who will
let me order my own thing. Provided, of course, they understand that Chinese
food absolutely MUST be eaten with chopsticks. That's a given, right?
Anyway, perhaps tomorrow's cookie will provide more clarification. I'm getting
sick of Sesame Noodles, however. I'll try some nice white rice instead
to go with the Lake Tung Ting offering.
